Abstract

The most relevant issue in an ideal education system is the model of teacher preparation. Although technological innovations and teaching methods have developed in the field of education, teachers remain the main determining subjects and leading elements of the system. Teaching is primarily a specialized field of practice based on human relations and quality communication. As such, the teaching profession is an activity that constantly requires innovation, development, and progress, and it influences all areas of society. For this reason, teachers should be regarded as individuals who, together with students, embark on a journey of learning, share knowledge and skills, discover talents, motivate and guide, and at the same time serve as role models and leaders for society. From this perspective, it is not appropriate to limit the teacher preparation process to certain years. The model presented in this article is limited to the actual 8-year period covering secondary school and university education (4+4), and also envisions continuous innovation and development. Teaching, as a profession requiring dedication, is not static, but a continuous and committed activity. The teacher preparation model discussed in this article is presented as a model that can be applied across the Turkic World and is proposed as an exemplary model consisting of a 10-stage process.
