MONOLOGUE TYPOLOGY IN PROSE TEXTS AND NEW DIRECTIONS IN LINGUISTIC RESEARCH

Abstract

The typological classification of monologic speech in Azerbaijani prose texts and its structural-semantic foundations constitute the main object of this article. The artistic functions, emotional capacity and communicative load of monologue forms are analyzed. The article also introduces new approaches and prospective research directions in the linguistic and psycholinguistic study of monologic speech. In this context, the author proposes an analytical model of monologic discourse, based on the interrelation of cognitive linguistics, functional syntax and intra-textual psychological mechanisms.
