Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of designing housings with double-sided dumps for rotary plows, using geometric modeling methods. A brief analysis of the designs of double-sided drop-off housings for rotary plows from a geometric point of view is considered. Some disadvantages of the double-sided fall-off body designs that prevent the widespread use of rotary plows have been identified. The results of research on the design of two double-acting dump housings for rotary plows using geometrically combined working surfaces are presented. The developed models of body designs with double-sided blades for rotary plows have a number of advantages, simplifying the rotary mechanism, improving the manufacturability of the blade and using additional field boards.
