This article examines the phenomena of abstraction and nominalization in literary discourse based on Albert Camus’s novel L’Étranger. The study aims to identify how abstract vocabulary and nominal structures contribute to the semantic organization and stylistic formation of the text. The analysis demonstrates that these linguistic features function as key mechanisms for conveying the philosophical and existential dimensions characteristic of Camus’s narrative.
