The study examines the transition from general English to English for Specific Purposes (ESP), highlighting the role of precise terminology in avoiding misinterpretation and ensuring clarity in economic analysis. It also discusses the significance of communication skills in academic research, professional environments, and international negotiations. Furthermore, the article addresses the challenges faced by students and provides practical strategies for improving professional communication competence. The findings suggest that mastering professional English communication is a key factor in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world economic practice.
