Abstract

Modern education has undergone substantial changes as a result of the quick growth of information and communication technology. The demands of today's students can no longer be satisfied by traditional teacher-centered instructional techniques, particularly in language education. Since English is a universal language, teaching methods must be engaging, communicative, and student-centered. The flipped classroom approach is one of the best contemporary strategies for meeting these needs.

By moving direct education outside of the classroom, the flipped classroom concept modifies the conventional teaching framework. Students watch movies, watch presentations, and read texts at home instead of listening to lectures in class. After that, practice, discussion, teamwork, and problem-solving take place in the classroom. This approach is particularly effective in teaching English to high school students, as it allows more time for speaking, listening, and real-life language use.
