Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of the role and diagnostic effectiveness of radiological imaging methods, particularly ultrasound examination (US), in the early detection of gallstone disease (cholelithiasis), which remains one of the pressing challenges of modern medicine. Gallstone disease is widely распространed worldwide, and the incidence of its complications continues to remain high. Since the disease often progresses without distinct clinical manifestations in its early stages, patients frequently seek medical care late, resulting in more complicated surgical interventions.
