Abstract

Social media has become an integral part of teenagers’ daily lives, influencing their communication, behavior, and emotional well-being. While it offers opportunities for connection and self-expression, excessive use may negatively affect mental health. This article explores both the positive and negative effects of social media on teenagers, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and social interaction. It also highlights the importance of balanced usage and awareness among both educators and parents.
