Abstract

This article provides scientifically grounded characteristics of the theoretical and practical aspects of the application of a law that abolishes the criminality of an act, mitigates punishment, or otherwise improves the situation of a person, that is, to persons who have committed the corresponding criminal act before the entry into force of the criminal law, including those who are serving or have served their sentence, if they are still convicted.
